This is my first draft of my magazine cover, it includes all of the conventions; the headline is very clear and bold and all of the text can be read easily. However I think that the masthead, slogan, pug and headlines are too close together which make it look crowded. Plus the main headline 'Upcoming school stars' looks the same size as 'monochrome' which is the strapline.
